Technology of cooperation between subject matter expert and instructional designer (part 1)

This article presents the technology of cooperation between subject matter expert (SME) and instructional designer involved in a course creation process. Special attention is focused on formal specifications of e-content including text and multimedia elements.



Dynamic scenarios (part III) – visibility alteration of e-course elements

Abstract

The paper is the next one (part III) of the papers cycle concerning dynamic scenarios and it discusses the problem of e-course’s elements visibility for a trainee. The scenario techniques are presented which enable visibility changes. The paper is designed for persons who would like to create e-courses with dynamic scenarios, using TeleEdy e-Learning Suite environment or other authoring tool, implementing SCORM SN1.3 and IMS QTI specifications.

 



Evaluation and testing technical correctness of electronic courses

Abstract

In the computer aided training problem of providing the high-quality e-courses occurs to be more and more important. The proper quality is not possible without the precise tools for its valuation. Testing and evaluation state for such an apparatus. The paper gives the specification of quality assessment (evaluation) and correctness analysis (testing) of e-courses. Below is presented scope and methods of testing and the way to achieve the evaluation of electronic courses, as well as the position of evaluation and testing in the process of creation and deployment of e-courses.



Evaluation and testing of e-courses’ conformance with SCORM specification

The paper discusses issues concerning testing of e-courses’ conformance with SCORM specification, using free Conformance Test Suite tool. The paper includes some hints and tips on how to conduct such tests and what to pay attention for in order to avoid troubles in this scope.



Measurement of LMS platform interoperability based on the Adele platform case study

Interoperability of e-learning tools in coopertion with LMS platforms

Abstract

The paper discuses problems concerning cooperation of e-courses and e-learning platforms. Most of these problems arise in the filed of Run Time Environment and Content Aggregation Model of SCORM standard. Some real life examples are given. Furthermore some practical advice is given how to prevent or in the worst case solve such a problems.

Electronic recruitment processes

Abstract

The paper presents the most popular forms of electronic recruitment. At present time of high unemployment rate, it often happens that candidates just flood their potential employers by CVs, even when they do not meet the most basic requirements of the offered job. The issue has become a starting point for proposing a new method of electronic recruitment, based on electronic testing. This recruitment method enables an initial selection of candidates, in order to get offers only from persons who fulfill the expected requirements.



Role of e-learning in developmet of Knowledge Database of Innovations

Abstract

The article describes the idea of using e-learning in development of knowledge database of innovations. Author underlines, that e-learning inclusion in the process of database build and development is an enterprise, which is still innovative and rather unparalleled on grand scale. But all unquestionable benefits, which offers e-learning let us think, that such databases would become more and more popular in the future.
