e-Learning Trends: Searching Cheaper e-Content

Abstract
The
problem of high costs of creation e-learning content is a global
problem, and in Poland, in small & medium enterprises sector, even
barrage, blocking e-learning applications, which could become a source
of enterprises efficiency and competitiveness growth. The paper
discusses a new attempt of standardization bodies to LMS platform and
authoring tools functionality. The features of authoring tools, which
enable and simplify realization of a new idea - multi-reuse of the same
materials in many different e-learning objects - become more and more
significant. The idea of creating new products from prefabricated
elements, reducing production costs, is not new in general, but in
e-learning it is developing with difficulties. It is worth getting know
about desired authoring tools functions before purchase or their
selection decision, in order to create a perspective e-content.

Preparing
an e-course for needs of wider group of receivers (we can say, a
professional course) is conducted according to ADDIE model, eve if
people working on e-course creation do not know about such model
existence. The paper discusses phases of e-course creation, according
to ADDIE model.
Dynamic Scenarios (part II - Randomizing Objects)

Abstract
The
paper (Part II - randomizing objects) is intended for all people who
want to create e courses with dynamic scenarios, using TeleEdu EWS SDK
authoring tool. The focus is put on various pedagogical situations in
e-courses, and the role of scenario techniques in their realization is
strongly stressed. One of the scenario techniques - randomizing
training and testing objects - is described in details. Because of EWS
SDK conformance with SCORM 2004 standard and IMS QTI Results Reporting
specification, the paper familiarizes a reader with requirements and
abilities set by these specifications, in scope of creating adaptive e
courses. The next part (part III) of the paper will be devoted to the
other scenario techniques.

this article I would like to familiarize a reader with the issues of an
e-learning management, solving problems of its users and a reporting
process. A content of this article is based on experience gained during
supervising the e-learn training for a big government institution.
e-Learning in RENOWATOR Centre

Abstract
Training-Consultation-Probation
Centre RENOWATOR for small and medium enterprises in the Institute of
Mathematical Machines (IMM) has been functioning since October 2005,
within framework of IW EQUAL project. The Centre conducts free of
charge stationary and blended trainings on innovation qualifications,
(tele)consultations, paid probations and practiceses as well as
economic advisory and "soft" abilities advisory. Trainings participants
are also supported by RENOWATOR Carrier Bureau. The Centre is a new
model of vocational improvement in scope of innovative information
technologies, elaborated in science and research units. The Centre uses
in its trainings innovative e-learning technologies. The main purpose
of its activities is to level up chances on employment market for
workers over 45 years old and women returning after maternity. The
Centre organizes also trainings for businessmen and managers from small
and medium enterprises, called "Business meetings with a cup of
computer science". These trainings explain the newest information
technologies and argue by economic arguments for their implementation
in enterprises. This first one paper from a series "e-Learning in
RENOWATOR Centre" presents first IMM experiences in creating and
conducting remote trainings by the RENOWATOR Centre for people with
lower vocational skills and/or over 45 years old. The goal of these
trainings is to gain by the trainees market-demanded, competitive
skills and to obtain their certification by science and research units.
