is a field of education that utilizes Internet technologies. There are
different applications and different technical solutions in e-learning
systems. These technologies differ in functionality and effectiveness
of learning process. The e-learning development dynamic require form
entrepreneur at least orientation in he trends in e-learning to make
optimal decision concerned e-learning implementation.
Electronic Knowledge Testing

Abstract
The
goal of this article is to present characteristics of testing student�s
knowledge on e-learning systems. The special features of testing in
electronic form are presented, as well as advantages and disadvantages
of this method, comparing to classic way of testing. Different sort of
questions, which may be asked to a student, are described, together
with evaluation methods. Also the ways of creating self-tests are
shown, which is useful for preparing tests designed to extend and
complete student�s knowledge. Finally, the potential of using
information collected during testing is discussed. This information may
be used to make dynamic modification of course�s scenario.

E-learning
is developing very rapidly. New solutions are introduced very fast, and
old ones are becoming obsolete. Is it still suitable to call simple
hypertext courses or e-books, e- learning. New possibilities such as
adaptability and course profiling make them a very primitive form of
e-learning. Those old forms will be used only as parts of more modern
courses.

instructional designer is a person, who verifies, improves and
implements e-course author's idea. It is because of his e-course
creation knowledge and his regular cooperation with some/different
discipline experts.
